With 99 Grand Prix wins and five championship titles, Herlings holds the unbroken record for MXGP moto wins and GP victories. Because of his natural talent and ability to maintain high speeds, Herlings has been nicknamed "The Bullet". To visually reflect this, his personalised glasses are inspired by slow-motion footage of shockwaves from a real bullet, which is evident in the strap and frame design.
